Yes it is. But, he's the only guy who seems to know how to find any openings to catch the ball, or who can be counted on consistently, to win the 50/50s. Watson hasn't shown he's ready to fight for the ball as much. Hopefully it will happen. At this point, the failure of the running game has created a lot of the passing woes. Unless they get better in the running game, nobody will respect it, and continue to shut down our passing game.

The offensive line........... dare I say more?

On defense, there are glimmers of real hope, but we need to find some real bulldozers to handle the three inside spots.
 
I was going to put this in post game but.. here is probably better.

It's time to admit it, Packers are at the beginning of a major rebuild. There isn't a spot on this roster that has shown it has the talent or the depth to be legit regardless of when they were drafted. The lack of overall talent is astounding. And that falls on Gutey and his dark overlord Darth Murphy. This will take 2, maybe 3 drafts to fix. It's that bad.

The team is rudderless right now. No leadership anywhere even from the coaches. Several assistant coaches are clearly not NFL quality. ML has to get over his "system" BS. Time to build up these guys from the base. That is how Campbell got DET turned around. He didn't spend time on "systems and execution" he got his players to believe in themselves even when they were losing a lot. They had fight. GB has no fight.

This is a team of individuals out there on the field right now. They don't play as a team.

I think Love is one of the few bright spots. I think he's shown he has the tools and the mindset to be successful.

It's going to be a long few seasons coming up. Big question is can ML get this team to believe in itself, or will he fall back on the "system and execution" as something hide behind.

Just amazing how it went so bad, so fast. Not one position group on this team that is even close to being a bright spot, imo. This could truly be a BPA draft and it would help, that is, if this damn front office and talent evaluators can magically become proficient at their jobs.
 
What if ML isn’t giving Love enough flexibility? Love seems more comfortable with fast paced let me see what’s there and let it rip. As opposed to ML very structured methodical preference when it seems Love struggles a bit with progression..

And if the WR can’t run routes anyway…

While the talent is trash ML needs to figure out what he can do with what he has. It's clear GB does not have the talent to run the offense he wants.
 
WR aren’t running through their routes either. Many of them are holding up at end after Love lets it go. So it looks like an overthrow but it was really the WR not following through.
