Packers 2022 Thread

That $46m cap hit clearly is the first domino to fall. How much can / will or won’t get restructured will influence the rest. And then there is 17’s tag to work around. All around stranger. The fact nothing is being leaked by GB is highly unusual
Maybe they’re all leaked out after spilling stuff about Rodgers?
(Sarcasm)

Some folks latch on to the “reported” deal which had to be leaked by someone. Nice narrative but structure matters as usual.

I was wrong on him walking away and trying not to double down but this delay is not normal unless someone jumped the gun.

Agree, with only a few days to go, and at least 6-8 decisions to be made and contracts to get done you'd think they'd have moved on something the last few days or that some camp would be releasing at least basic information that talks are underway. It's like complete "radio silence" on everyone's part . . . kinda weird.
I expect Monday to be D-Day lots of guys will go

Alexander I think will get new deal before league year lower his cap number

So with the Packers cap strapped do they follow the TT method of FA this year and wait until May when there is no draft comp awarded anymore and you sign guys on the cheap who are just hoping to get a job at that point?
