Packers 2022 Thread

View attachment 492
They didn't win the SB the last two years and they're bringing back the same group of guys they didn't win with except now everyone is older and richer so yeah, super bowl or bust!
At this point, that has to be the rallying cry for the last decade and certainly the last couple years. People believe that if they keep touting that, it'll come true and they'll be vindicated somehow.

We can't say much right now except that the Packers were not talented enough to even get to a SB last year... at this point they are treading water. How do they get improve the team enough to even get to a SB without cap space? It's not like this team was on the cusp of greatness. They blew through a bad division and then got embarrassed by the Niners, at home. The only thing bringing Arod and Adams back does is keep status qou, not improve.
Yep and can say this team got worse from last year

So wonder when Rodgers signs and files new contract and team starts making cuts. They going to wait to the 11th hour and cut a bunch of guys next Tuesday?

Would like to see Crosby just retire rather then get cut after 15 years.

Crosby won't quit. If they cut him, he'll end up kicking for someone else. The Cowboys have signed a kicker to give Zeurlein a run for his job. If cut, Crosby might end up competing for that job. Fairbairn in Houston is vulnerable too. He could end up there. All close enough to home he can be in Round Rock on days off.

Thing with Crosby he's 36 years old has lost leg strength and accuracy. Plus vet min for him is $1.12 million dollars. I think there is cheaper younger better kickers out there.

You can't look at last yr or the rosters right now and say " Who's better" That's horse poo and you damn well know it. At this point, 31 other teams could be "better". Let's talk in August.
That’s fair. I get it. But at the same time we have the best QB in the division, a elite WR, depth at RB and an adequate OL. Some questions on defense and ST needs an overhaul.
