Packers 2022 Thread

Not saying anything, just saying:

2018 Packers, through 6 games: 24.7ppg, 421ypg, 3-2-1 record

2022 Packers, through 6 games: 17.7ppg, 348ypg, 3-3 record

The under-center thing hasn't been relevant in almost a decade?? Hell, we have teams that run wishbone doing it out of the pistol successfully and have been for a long time. The whole you can't run successfully with your QB in the pistol is grade-A pure horse pucky!
Not the same, imo

Seems like the last two years, they were playing with leads.

The current Packers leadership has become way too complacent. It's a trend in the NFL in general, where they care less about winning the Lombardi and more about profits. The people will still watch and make it an extremely lucrative business model.

If you're a fan of a time when teams actually cared about a championship then it's not a good time to be a fan. GB calls itself TitleTown yet has only won 2 championships in the past 55 years. Most of its wins came long before the modern NFL was even a thought.

Gutey continues to spend high picks on defense, completely ignoring the offense, and focusing on giving bad contracts to guys who don't necessarily live up to them. This year the chickens came home to roost and the GB offense is a shell. Little talent, no depth.

However, this is gonna get ugly soon. With Arods sharp drop-off in skills, and IMHO lack of dedication/desire, things are going to get much worse before they get better. My hope would be that a few awful years wakes up the fanbase, they make noise, and it gets the leadership to take notice and snap out of their Favre/Arod coma. The one guy I feel bad for is Jordan Love, because he will probably be the sacrificial lamb when it all collapses, through no fault of his own.

Murphy and Gutey have rode Arods coattails for awhile, I don't have much respect for them to be honest. The only way for GB to have a hope to get back to TitleTown is to get better, NOT INBRED, front office talent.

2 titles in 55 years.....

Some say Matt is finally standing up to Rodgers. Latest rumor, granted Florio is a Vikings homer.
