Packers 2022 Thread

Sorry I expect a veteran QB to step up and be a team leader not a guy who's only in it for himself.
I’ll make this simple.
  • Favre was not a “leader”
  • Rodgers shows emotion on the sidelines he gets ripped. Brady does if it’s “leadership”
  • The current issues are much more complicated than QB play
I get you “dislike” the current QB but again it’s not that simple

Brady chews out his guy on sidelines. Rodgers screams at them on the field. Time and place for an ass chewing.

Who gives a rats ass where. Both are visible. I’ve seen Brady bitch on the field also. Just do your damn job. It’s not Pop Warner.
I disagree. There's a time and place for everything, but in the middle of the field, where fans are concentrating their attention, is not the right place to over react. A player can be admonished on the field without it being overly obvious, as if you're throwing a tantrum. Rodgers seems prone to giving it the Sarah Burnhardt bit when someone messes up.

I don't have a problem him bitching at the players as much as the fact he's the one who generally screws up. We know for a fact he has used and calls in that are no longer the playbook as well as old verbiage.

He is /has been missing wide-open WR to one side of the field because he's locking in on the covered WR. The bottom line he shows all the signs of a regressing, aging QB who's going through the motions and then tends to pout or get pissy when things go south.

The signs of regression are obvious. I would disagree he’s going through the motions. To me it’s frustration that it’s the “real” last dance. Different perception

85,000 people in the stands see it but Brady’s antics are seen by millions over social media and clips. I guess it’s just perspective. I could care less about when and where weather it’s Brady or Rodgers or Mahomes.

As a QB you can scream whenever you want at whoever you want but you also have to hit Aaron Jones when he’s wide open on a wheel route, or Doubs when he has separation on a slot fade. If you can’t hit those throws then you need to suck it up and look in the mirror. That’s the deal, always has been.

Stenavich will micromanage the OL for a bit.

Matt will persuade Aaron to line up under center and run play action. Which is to say, run the offense.

Defense will hold most teams under 20.

Being under center is not the issue. As a matter of fact it’s probably necessary with this OL. A 5-7 step drop would be a sack waiting to happen
