Broken record time from Budman...it's a toss up for me. Until GB shows some real progress and they can get their OLine play figured out and playing better, and WR drops under control, the D can get a stop in a crucial moments, then this game could go either way. It'll be that way for me the rest of the year. A few "could" wins left on the schedule but no "should" wins.

That about sums it up. They will be sh!tty, right up until they aren't.

Rams 24-13. The Packers are melting. My estimate of 7 wins this year are beginning to look like a reach. I should adjust downward now, to about 5.

This might sound like a dumb question, but based on what I've seen, is it possible that LeFleur and/or Gute are on a short leash at this point, and could be gone when the season ends? It wouldn't be the first time people in positions similar to what they are in get the boot, despite their records from previous years.

Just curious more than anything. Some of the little things we've been hearing now kind of takes the luster off of what seemed like a bright and shiny operation. It's beginning to sound a bit disjointed, and maybe LeFleur carries chips on his shoulder. Not a good thing on his job.

Nah TW. Murphy and Gute and ML are all tied together. Murphy is going no were until he retires July 2025. Then the new president gets to decide and I am guessing a new team president won't fire anyone at that time and go thru 2025 season with Gute and ML before he would make any changes so we have our GM and HC in place for at least 2 more seasons.

Not this year, after next maybe. Murphy and company knew this year was going to be a cluster due to the contract they gave #12 and the cans they kicked down the road. Don't get fooled into any other scenario. I do expect staff changes after the season though.

I am thinking if they make a change at GM/HC after 2024 whomever they have tabbed to replace Murphy will be the one actually making the call who to hire at least at GM since Murphy would have one foot out the door.

Which staff changes do you think? Maybe DC? Any others that might stand out?
