A source said the rookie underwent minor knee surgery following the Packers' offseason program in June.
 
Watson on PUP is disturbing. If he was dinged he’d be there and they’d just hold him out. To me PUP suggests something more serious

I understand the want to know, but the bottom line is that we don't have a need to know. It's his own medical care. I'm sure theres rule protecting the release of his information. I don't fault him for not sharing it.
 
It was knee surgery.
Does that immediately release any and all rights to his not having to consent to the release of his injury? I'm not up on the medical rules as I used to be.

Good point. I didn't think about that. Doesn't, " he has a knee injury" cover it though, as far as reporting it? Or do you have to be very specific?
