Bucks vs Hawks Eastern Conference Finals Thread

It was the whole series, and yes they bombed in game 7. But the NBA gave Philly every break, and yes, he wasn't the only superstar at that time but they wanted him in the finals rather than Robinson.
I’ve never bought into conspiracy theories on who the league wants in or not. It’s not a rating thing since the league does not make a penny more if the numbers are up or down. Might be a bit of a PR thing but it’s more network narrative. Does the league like a strong NY of LA absolutely but that’s more of a awareness thing. And yes every pro league thinks the same thing.

Now the NBA Draft ? Yeah they would “like” things done a “certain way”.

We must have watched a different series. Bucks lost that series in Game 6. Were up 20+ and let Philadelphia back in it. Gave them confidence
I just think that Bucks did play a couple bad games that they still got some bad calls

Better balance. Ayton is a stud, Booker can shoot, love what Bridges brings on D. Same with Crowder. And Paul is well really good. I think I goes 7. I watched both matchups this year and just see more balance
Bucks can beat anyone when they have the gameplan to do so

Allen Iverson was one of the NBA poster childs at that time . . . I remember thinking that it felt like one of the most rigged series ever.
Yep Philly was big city with big star NBA wanted them in
