ML is going to promote him, I don’t see the issue. He wouldn’t be doing anything different in Denver than he’ll do in GB. And I think ML has been plenty accommodating of guys interviewing elsewhere

That's not the point...GB has this habit and has since TT of blocking guys from interviewing. To be a HC or move up you need to interview. What would have happened if the Titans blocked us from ML ?

It says we're too chicken shit to let him go do it because he won't come back. Bad look and it makes it hard to land quality assistants such as... Oh I don't know a really good ST coach.
