Black Monday 2022

Good for Hackett but I am surprised, I never saw him as a HC type. Definitely puts a Rodgers to Denver trade in play. Clarity is a good thing, it would be to the benefit of all parties to work out agreeable trade compensation for Aaron and make a clean break of it.
I still think a lot of this hire was with that we hire him Rodgers is good as ours to come to Denver.

Hackett hire is very much about putting a ML-type culture/system in place, you can't deny his record the past 3 seasons. Very little to do about Rodgers.
I get the impression that, whatever his skills as a DC, the players just didn't like Fangio. Too old school. Like ML, teams now I think want a coach who can both relate to players and get along with them, but also have their respect. Hackett probably got to reinvent himself a little under ML.

Speaking of Fangio he’s interviewing in Jax. Looks like Leftwich does not want to work with Baalke and Fangio has in the past.

Trevor would not be a happy dude

Typical Khan thing to do would be draft a new wave, independent-minded stud at QB and saddle him with a soul crushing curmudgeon as HC.

Former Colts’ defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is being hired as the head coach of the Chicago Bears, per sources.
