Well I don’t think Teddy or Lock is even a short term option either. 12 is a risk / reward propAgreed, but neither would Rodgers be a long term fix. That's why I don't see it happening.

That’s were my issue is. I don’t think he has 3 years left in him. Are they better than KC or Buffalo in 2-3 years? Doubtful. SD? QuestionableManning wasn't a long term solution either.
But if Elway believes that bringing #12 in will get them a Lombardi in 2-3 yrs, you can bet he's going to take a long look at it.
Elway seems like he's always in "win now" mode, and will do whatever it takes to facilitate that.
Comparing Rodgers to Manning makes me think that "physically", and "at the moment", Rodgers has more in the tank than Manning did when he joined the Broncos. When was it that Manning was coming off neck surgery? Just before joining the Broncos? Or was it earlier than that? That’s were my issue is. I don’t think he has 3 years left in him. Good points. That Denver team with Manning had a dominant defense, Elway did not need an elite QB to pitch it more to “manage” the offense. This Denver team needs to outscore KC , Denver and maybe LA. Bit of a different dynamic. Sure he had one elite year but lost the SBComparing Rodgers to Manning makes me think that "physically", and "at the moment", Rodgers has more in the tank than Manning did when he joined the Broncos. edit: Manning had his 4th neck surgery in 2011, and joined the Broncos in 2012.
Wasn't there a lot of speculation that he was nearly washed up at that point? And the year they/he finally won the SB, Manning was physically a shell of himself, but they still won.
Elway may have visions of recapturing that.
Just guessing on my part.
Makes sense. Not sure it works out. But seems in like with how Jax does business.Jaguars expected to hire Buccaneers OC Byron Leftwich as their next head coach, per multiple sources.
Risk / reward hire. It comes down to how Lawrence develops. But that roster is brokenJaguars expected to hire Buccaneers OC Byron Leftwich as their next head coach, per multiple sources.
