AR Prediction Thread

Or Murphy trying to move this circus along. Jets have been doing a ton of media negotiation, GB has been silent. For Murphy to talk like this, everyone's cards are on the table, all that's left is for Rodgers to make up his mind but he needs to do that, like, yesterday.

I can see Rodgers wait to Sunday the 12th day before legal tampering period and his jersey number being the 12 he announces he is requesting a trade

Murphy: “Very few players play for only one team. Obviously, Brett had a great career, Aaron had a great career here. Regardless of what happens, Aaron will be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he’ll be in our Hall of Fame, we’ll bring him back and retire his number. This is just one of those things you go through as a team and, again, we want to try to achieve something that’s good for Aaron and us.”

God, I hope AR does not drag this out until right before free agency.

But I can see it happening. hgh)
I actually prduct Aaron will draw this out and make it as difficult for Gutey as possible.

Funny thing is, that's a good way to end up a Panther. Jets or Panthers, Aaron? They're trying to let you decide.

Yes and no. TT would never. Never. NEVER in a million years have given Aaron that contract last spring because of the leverage it gave him, and he would be gone.

On the other hand, so many people forget about the Favre situation that GB didn't just want to move on to Aaron, they actively and assertively wanted Favre retired. Not just gone from the team, but out of the league. They had a very flowery narrative crafted about Favre riding off into the sunset and Aaron taking over - the main problem was that Favre never agreed to any of that.

If nothing else at least now GB seems willing to just get what they can from him and move on.
I wouldn't have given him that contract either. Aaron wanted to come back anyway. This whole shit fit is because they want to move on from him. Call his bluff, Gutey.

Too late now tho. Looks like Gutey still came out ahead.

Panthers traded a ton for Bears #1 pick.. it’s Jets or retire…

Or, he comes back and tries to push himself upon Gutey again. So maybe send him to the Texans for a third rounder. Key idea being, "somebody else's problem."

Sure, it'd be nice to get something for him, but damn. Unending fucking nightmare.
