Too good not to share. So this guy on a Jet's board is posting as if, indeed, Rodgers does go to the Jets and isn't exactly the second coming.
He says:

The longer it draws out the more likely it is he retires and walks away. Just my opinion.

Good opportunity to take a pause amidst the frenzy and actually acknowledge that, one way or the other, Rodgers is not going to be GBs QB next year.

Yes and no. TT would never. Never. NEVER in a million years have given Aaron that contract last spring because of the leverage it gave him, and he would be gone.
On the other hand, so many people forget about the Favre situation that GB didn't just want to move on to Aaron, they actively and assertively wanted Favre retired. Not just gone from the team, but out of the league. They had a very flowery narrative crafted about Favre riding off into the sunset and Aaron taking over - the main problem was that Favre never agreed to any of that.
If nothing else at least now GB seems willing to just get what they can from him and move on.
