and Stanton makes $325M over 13 years all guaranteed to play baseball, different business models. But that said it will be a talking point in next CBA
 
so will Rodgers play out his career in GB? Not so sure when you look at the structure in 2021 and 2022. Dead cap money in 2121 is $23m but its a $10.5m savings and in 2022 dead cap is $11.5, a savings of $25.5. stay tuned
 
Gutekunst says the #Packers considered all of the non-traditional contract structures but ran into problems with the CBA and other restrictions. He believes the final product of Rodgers' deal represented a good outcome for both sides.

Aaron Rodgers tried for a non-traditional deal but ... "Ultimately, I don't think the NFL is ready for those type of contracts and willing to go in some of those directions
