2024 NFL Season Thread

People guessing will Rodgers go to Minn if Darnold would leave and they would want another 1 year place holder for McCarthy if he's not ready.

i doubt that very much. even aaron has to admit that father time has beaten him. the jets gave him evry receiver he asked for and nothing has worked. poor, davante just can't catch a break.
 
Not sure if anyone watched the Steelers-Browns snow globe last night but it was really fun.

This guy George Pickens at the end though, geez. He makes some spectacular catches but this stuff would just get so old, so quickly. Runs down for a hail mary attempt and just starts fighting a dude.

Pickens is another head case. Said pretty much the Browns suck and only reason they won was because of the snow and the refs.

The year he came out there were a couple Rd 2 WR - Watson, Pickens, Alec Pierce. It’s interesting to see their careers unfold. Pickens has probably been more consistent and productive overall but he’s a pain in the butt headcase, and I couldn’t see giving him a second contract. Watson has had the highest-highs of the bunch, great teammate, great kid, but derailed by injuries and just overall parts of his game missing. Pierce also looks like a great kid and has found something to his game this year but overall the least playmaking of the bunch.

and they make sure they leave out the fact that they were the ones that put them up on the pedestal to start with . . . . Just like with Caleb Williams - they're not going to say anything bad about him until next year, hoping people forget that they all said he was going to be the next . . . . Mahomes/Brady/etc.
 
Report Daniel Jones looking to join a playoff contender for rest of year. So will he try to get a cheap ring join a Bills/Chiefs/Lions team that many think could win a SB?
