I don't think it's the close of the Barry Era, it's an evolution.

Like MI and Ohio State evolved from Hayes and Schembeckler, we're evolving.

I hope we have equal success. I think there's a lot of WI in Fickell and of course he's bringing in a lot of new. Exciting times.

Well all programs evolve it’s not 3 yds and a cloud of dust anymore. Just a different landscape to navigate

See 3 coaches leaving UW to go to Stanford. Bobby April will be the DC and DL coach Ross Kolodziej and Mark D'Onofrio will join him.

Jim Leonhard has said he's had several offers but has not yet decided what he will do.

#SMU quarterback Tanner Mordecai entered the transfer portal earlier tonight and is expected to land at #Wisconsin, according to sources. Would be a huge pickup for Luke Fickell and OC Phil Longo.

So got this guy then Evers, Burkett, Wolf, and the freshman they got coming in that's 5 QB.s it's clear the Freshman will be redshirted as there will be no chances for him in 2023. Does someone leave as even 4 QBs I am not sure if Evers or Burkett stay.

Evers took a RS last year at Oklahoma i believe and Mettauer is class of 2024, LaCrue in 23 also. Let’s see how it plays out

Don’t see it and personally I hate that system. It’s about continuity and timing and a 2 QB system would negate that

Just trying to get all caught up here. Wasn't Evers a really high prospect a year ago when he signed with Oklahoma? Like even higher rated than Mertz when he came into UW?

Evers was the 9th rated QB in his class Mertz was #3. Overall Mertz was 65 and Evers was 172. That’s from 247
