2023 Badger Football Thread

I think Harbour will end up in Madison. It's going to be a tough get, but I think they handle it. The excitement, and anticipation of where the program is going will tilt the decision towards the Badgers.

Like Pack said, this is important.
Corey Smith is going to be an interesting part of this. Teammate and 4 star RB. Might have some influence

30 pounds though is big difference.
This is not going to be a north South physical running game anymore. Personally Nate White might be the best “fit” for them at some point in 2023

It will still include a bruising running game. Just because they'll throw the ball more out of the pistol doesn't mean the run between the tackles isn't a major factor in moving the ball. It's going to be very physical inside. Where did you get the idea it wouldn't be?

Both UNC backs were not very physical and he ran 10 personal the majority of the time. I doubt you see much 21 sets. With a dual threat QB more RPO based. One thing is also from reading stuff his OL splits are wider than what we are used to seeing. At UNC it was very balanced but Maye ran the ball 184 times. Sam Howell was similar

Don't be fooled by that. This offense can produce a bruising running game to go with the new dynamics.

I’m just doing historically what his offense has been. I do think people think Air Raid is all Hal Mumme or The Pirate airing it out but it’s balanced in Longo’s offense. Even Allen mentioned that in an interview that the offense will be more wide open and open more lanes which is typical of spread concepts.
