2023 Badger Football Thread

It appears all three see their jobs at Wisconsin as a huge stepping stone to getting their own programs in a year or two. I think Fickell pitched the short game on them for their future. Obviously there's more exposure coaching in the Big 10, and will be a great addition to their resumes.

The training table can be an important part of a program. Fickell is smart, insisting on them having meals there. It's also a recruiting tool. When a kid comes in for a visit, and gets awesome food, he remembers that, when it comes to decision time.

Also, when they're eating there, and see a lot of the players there, it speaks of the unity of the program.

This is a positive direction.

Luke Fickell's challenge to the Badgers heading into next season. "We want to see who the dogs are when it really gets tough. Can you fight through the (expletive), can you concentrate at the end? That’s what we’re trying to train ourselves (to do).”

That is good video but was thinking with a uptempo offense how will the OL recuriting have to change? In past you had the big OL that could have been 300 pounds. With a uptempo offense like this I doubt you can keep those guys because they will be dead at halftime trying to keep up with such a fast paced game.
