2023-24 Milwaukee Bucks Season Thread

The Bucks were always a defense oriented team, and now, with Griffen, it's out the window. The Pacers put up 142 on them. It's unacceptable. They aren't that good of a team, and quite honestly, the Bucks should not be that bad on defense, on any given night.

Griffen is going to end the chances of this team winning anything of value for a decade or more. The owners better dump his arse out as soon as possible, and quite honestly, I don't care if Horst is considered a good GM or not, he's the one who decided on Griffen, and needs to be held accountable.
 
Fire Griffin now. Bucks barely beat one of the worst teams in the NBA. Tied after 3 qtrs and only win by 4. Griffin is a turd flush the toilet.
 
Watching the game last night was nauseating. The Bucks couldn't defend 5 guys over 90, with walkers. It isn't because they are incapable, it's because of the way their being positioned on the floor. I can't believe that they went from a well schooled defense in the past to an unorganized bunch of buffoons out there because they suddenly forgot how to defend, or are lazy. It has to be something else, and that points directly at the coaching staff.

They can't wait until this season is lost before doing something. They need to do it now, to get this team back on track, and heading towards a potential championship. At this rate, they're going to be an easy target for anyone in the playoffs.

It's pathetic.

Sir Charles laid into the Bucks and their lack of defense pretty hard during half time. Unfortunately, as is usual Charles is spot on and said what everyone else was afraid to say.

He can ruffle feathers, and is opinionated, but like you said, he's not afraid to call it like it is. If he gets fired for doing it, I'll still be a fan of him, because he doesn't mince words. He's right. I've been saying it since early in the season. They do not play defense, and are totally out of position. Yet, Griffin stands on the sidelines with a glazed look in his eyes, thinking they can put up 140+ every game to win it. It's insanity. Spend all the future draft capital to get Lillard, then allow a worthless coach to run the team? It's beyond imagination.

Unless they eat the money, and dump Griffin, this team is not going to win anything this year, and they'll start shedding, or losing talent next year, as nobody will want to stay. We might even see both Dame and Giannis asking to get traded.

I think unless Griffin gets to the NBA finals he's one in done in MKE. Bucks got Giannis to long term deal so I think the players would even support a move on to a different coach.

Waiting until the end of the season would be a disaster. They need to make the change now, so they can prepare for the playoffs, and hit the floor running. It just can't continue like it is. If it does, this team is doomed to continuous failure.

if the bucks get to the nba finals, they won't be "one in done".
