NFL is being stupid in many ways on this one.

Do you set a precedent for punishment at 6 games for this? Probably not. Robinson’s ruling / rational did not fit the length. Not sure what was wrong with appealing

NFLPA will say precedent is 6 games and also owners never punished so he should have never be punished at all much less 6 games.

And owners are not given discipline via the CBA and actually there was no precedent for 23 accusations. If that’s their argument they lose

NFL needs a full season suspension, otherwise the Ridley suspension will get appealed, and who knows what else.
