He should not be even in top 5 pay. Murray is not a top 5 QBSo basically it’s not Watson money which should make Lamar Jackson a bit peeved

Agree He's a top 10 QB but not top 5.That's a lot of money for a guy that's only tier 2.
He’s probably somewhere between 8-15 in the league. Supply and demandStill no matter what a overpay he's not that good
All this does is mean you have to even pay for for the true elite. He’s probably somewhere between 8-15 in the league. Supply and demand
Very strange and how in the hell are they going to monitor it…..the contract states no internet, tv, or video games while doing it. Just oddKyler Murray’s new Cardinals contract mandates ‘independent study’ hours
Kyler Murray just inked a shiny $230.5 million contract extension, but he still has to do his homework.nypost.com
Very strange
To me it just shows how desperate teams are to keep the talented QB no matter the cost. Usually if you can't trust the guy to watch film and better himself after getting paid, you just don't pay him in the first place. AZ trying to have their cake and eat it too. Very odd, and sounds humiliating for Murray to have this built into the contract.Very strange and how in the hell are they going to monitor it…..the contract states no internet, tv, or video games while doing it. I agree but at the same time Burkhart agreed to it which honestly is more shocking. Only thing I can think of is the contract structure gives them some leverage down the roadTo me it just shows how desperate teams are to keep the talented QB no matter the cost.
