Attorney Tony Buzbee announced in a statement that all but four of the civil lawsuits against Browns’ QB Deshaun Watson have been settled. He did not disclose the details of the settlement.

Disagree if he was someone would have traded for him. Shows that even paying him $9-10 million is to much for teams for a below average starter

It’s the $18m salary that is the deterrent and other teams knowing the Watson situation.

No because they knew there was a chance he gets released. Again deadlines spur actions. Why give up capital if there is a chance he’s released

And my guess is Cleveland’s asking price is high. Internally they are bracing for Watson to be out and the season and Mayfield is insurance.
