2022-23 Milwaukee Bucks

Was there talk also that Edens and Lasry did not get along the best and that one used his power as team president few years ago to put in a GM that he wanted over the 2 other minorty owners?
Could be but I doubt that he would wait this long to unload if that was the issue.

I know it's a long season, but it would be nice to see something good tonight.

I did get my wish! Fun game to watch, and you can see Ingles fitting in better every game.

The others are Westbrook, Wilt Chamberlain, and Elgin Baylor. Pretty good company! :)

The rotation is going to be a challenge once Holiday / Middleton get healthy (well if 22 gets healthy). Trade deadline will be fascinating

Please! Don't attack me people. Just wondering out loud here.

I wonder if it's time to start looking for a place to trade Middleton? His injuries are piling up, he commands a high salary, and he is 31.
It’s a delicate issue. And somewhat complicated.

The positive: On one hand he’s a fantastic compliment to Giannis with his ability to create and pass. The pick and roll chemistry is ideal.

The Negative: Obviously injuries and he’s been a bit vague on does he want an extension in Milwaukee. Bill Simmons brought up the possibility of chemistry issues recently and that might be one. Hard to read.

The Complicated: By all reports he has a very good relationship with Giannis. If there are no chemistry issues do you take that risk ? Also he’s a UFA after next season. What value does he have based on skill set / fit / economics? And last the comp back. Salaries need to match or at least at 85% I believe.

Me? I would listen be it’s got to be a game changer. I don’t want picks. I would want 1 elite starter to begin with. It’s probably something that would take 1 more team to be involved also to balance money. Yep complicated

A 3 team work-around is definitely something that could happen. A trade that would match needs, and I'd guess the team getting Middleton would already have a contract in principle in place with him, before they make the trade. It would not be the first time something like this happened.

The problem I have is where do you find a guy who can leave his ego at the door, and become Giannis's "Junior Partner?" That's going to be difficult.

Dame Lillard comes to mind immediately. He’s been very open that he would love to play with Giannis and it fits a need but also creates a void. You get you sniper from deep (obvious need) but you lose an elite wing who can defend. Just spitballing, Norwa is probably part of some deal, maybe add Carter. To me Connaughton is not a piece I move. Allen is available I would think

One thing I’ve been thinking about is getting a true PG who can distribute. Let Holiday play the 2, he can score but he’s not an “elite” distribution type PG. On a side note i really wanted Kelly Oubre but he’s out 4-6 weeks

Agree on Middleton age and injuries I think not worth a new contract
