I agree. You need play makers to make an offense work. Even if you're fairly consistent running the ball, and throwing it, you need those guys that make a difference on plays that keep the chains moving, and force defenses to play against the long ball. Without the QB who can make those throws, and the guy who understands totally what the QB wants from him, you've got problems.
Without Rodgers and Adams this past year, I think we would have won possibly 8 games, maybe even less. Our defense has improved, but it can't carry the load for a totally inept offense.
This is just my opinion. I think we're going to see how it plays out next year.
