You named starters. Take away 17 & 12 covering up warts then what you got? Pretty good does not win SB. Wheres the depth at DL, TE, OLB, WR. Actually yes lack of depth dos explain much of the ST fail. It'd been bad before Drayton.

We had 3rd and 4th stringers starting. Rasul is not a starter. Most of the guys on the online were not starters. With all these injuries, we still won 13 games.

DL, we run a 3-4, how many you want? TE, we've got more guys who can play than any team in the league. 81 is developing, has yet to peak. Lazard maybe ok as a WR, but we all know he's really a TE, pretty good for a TE too. And let's not forget 85, lost for the season.

OLB, are you kidding me? Only Smith, Smith, Gary, Mercilus, and a bunch of developmental guys. WR is ok, we got Rodgers in the pipeline. Had injuries there too. Cobb, Davante. Let's not forget our run game either.

Lazard maybe ok as a WR, but we all know he's really a TE, pretty good for a TE too. And let's not forget 85, lost for the season.

Lazard is a TE? Since when? But hey if that's your player evaluation of him it's says volumes? Enjoy the kool aid

I read an article a few days ago where the author was suggesting moving Lazard to TE. So maybe thats where that comes from.
But I don’t see Lazard as a TE, ever.
He’ll never be a good in-line blocker, but instead his value for run blocking comes from sealing off LB’s and bullying DB’s in space in the run game.
He’s carved out a niche role in this offense, and that’s all it will ever be. A niche role.
He’s not a #2 WR. At best, he’s a #3 or #4. But what he does has value to ML’s offense and they should tender him this year as a RFA.
Tonyan is a huge question mark right now.
I’d rather see them draft a decent combo TE in the draft and roll with that and Deguara, Dafney, and Davis at TE this year.
For the record, I like Trey McBride.

If this team had depth then we wouldn't be talking about another playoff loss and ST disaster.....teams are about the depth on the bottom of your roster, always has been.

Crack post of the day. 49ers fan told me he thinks Rodgers is going to SF because he always wanted to play there. But it will only be for 1 year as Lance will then start in 2023. Also GB will only get a 3rd round pick for Rodgers and that SF will trade Jimmy G for a 2nd.

Yeah but Rodgers not going to SF just to play a year. Anywhere Rodgers goes is a new contract for him. Also SF is not paying up all those picks just to sit or trade Lance.
