Post Game: Packers defeat Steelers 27-17

There are fewer great TEs in the NFL right now than QBs, so I don't know how big the bang for the buck is in terms of investing too much draft capital there. Tonyan is good for what he is, the problem will be next year figuring out just how much he's worth to them.

Most TE’s take time to acclimate yo the pro level.
Very few make a significant impact in yr 1.
Tonyans two biggest weaknesses are 1) not a strong blocker, and (2) he doesn’t get much YAC at all.

Tonyan was targeted 7 times caught 2 passes for 8 yards. On season he's caught 8 passes for 74 yards and 1 TD. So he's on pace for 34 catches for 315 yards and 4 TDs. Not sure how much I would pay for that production for sure not top end TE money.

Production is also a factor of scheme, more of a question of what and how they value a TE

It appears Tonyan has been shuffled down the order at TE. He's not finding open space.

Case in point, Atlanta DOES have Pitts, they DO treat him as option 3 and therefore he has not mattered.
Thing is though he's a rookie and usually most teams won't treat a rookie as their #1 or even number 2 right away in the season. Plus ATL has Ridley also as a #1.
