June 8th Mandatory OTA begins

Agree you cave and give Rodgers what he wants it shows that they are more concerned with what the media is saying then what the see the long term future of the team is.
No it’s that “they” think it’s a fix. If they are worried about the media they are in the wrong business

There won't be any compromises here. Either the Packers front office caves, and pretty much gives Rodgers a 4 year package, with a lot of back loaded money, or he's going to sit until they decide they can't do anything but dump him. Anything they do, money-wise, will constitute caving.

Of course that back load money will probably be a "player option," so he can't tell them to kiss off after this year, and they can skate away from costs that would break their cap.

But why do you draft Love if you think extending Rodgers is a fix.

Or do they call Rodgers bluff he sits out and say we are not trading you so play for us or retire.

I think they would not give him that. If they would be stupid enough to pay and extend him it would be guaranting him money that would keep him on the team for at least the next 3 years which would mean he's 41 by end of that time.
