2021 Draft Simulator

They've shown pre-draft interest in several WR's. Bateman would potentially be the earliest of them, but I have no idea where Gute may have him slotted on his board.
Demetric Felton/UCLA (late 3rd/early 4th) would be an option I'd approve of.
They say the Packers have taken a shining to Ihmir Smith-Marsette/IOWA as well. He could be a late 4th/early 5th pick.

Just get the feeling that they want a WR that can do some/all of the stuff that Tyler Ervin did (gadget plays like Jet Sweep, etc. plus be a K/P returner)
That’s totally fine, but that’s a day 3 pick. They got Ervin for nothing, they can almost replace him for almost nothing.

if a guy like Barmore is there might be hard to pass on him. Put him and and Clark next to each other on DL and that could help a lot of problems.

I have a hunch the Packers might trade down out of the first round to get additional mid-draft help. That's assuming a guy they really covet ain't there.
Maybe, but I think they kinda sit tight at 29. I have a short list of guys who I see as GB types who the draft complex has as 2nd or 3rd rounders but GB would take higher

I think they stay also. DL or CB should be there at 29

Round 1 Pick 29: Zaven Collins, ILB/OLB, Tulsa (A-)

Round 3 Pick 28: Dyami Brown, WR, North Carolina (A+)
Round 4 Pick 30: Kayode Awosika, OT, Buffalo (A)
Round 4 Pick 37 (COMP): Mustafa Johnson, DT/DE, Colorado (A+)
Round 5 Pick 29: Jaret Patterson, RB, Buffalo (A+)
Round 5 Pick 34 (COMP): Khyiris Tonga, DT, BYU (A+)
Round 6 Pick 31: Trill Williams, CB, Syracuse (A+)
Round 6 Pick 37 (COMP): Zach McCloud, ILB/OLB, Miami (FL) (A+)
Round 7 Pick 28: Foster Sarrell, OT, Stanford (A+)

This appears to be a WR heavy draft. Drafting one too early would be minimal game over waiting until the mid-rounds, as long as there's someone out there that will fit another positional need. Just my opinion.
I think we were saying that last year too.

PFF made what I think is a good point about the WR. There are a couple guys in the draft this year marketed as “true slot” types, but if you look at the most productive WR in the NFL from the slot, it’s almost entirely outside receivers who move inside to take advantage of matchups. Davante Adams was No 1, Justin Jefferson No 2, etc. So when drafting a WR in the first or early 2nd, you should be targeting the guys who have a better overall game, because the specialists still aren’t likely to be the best at that position at the NFL level.

If Farley falls to 29 would he be worth the gamble to take or because of back issues do you red flag him and take him off the board?

That’s the million dollar question because with no combine and such you have to rely on independent medicals.
