17th Game Rotation

Mark Murphy said he expects the Packers to play overseas in the year that the Packers would have nine schedule home games. So they would still have eight home games in that year.

So the NFL makes more money off the extra game but the local market doesn’t get to benefit?

Way also not to have to fight who gets the ticket GB or MKE ticket holders if they would every other year give up home game to play an international game.

The Packers will do whats best for the team. This way the city is not losing a game really as they are still playing 8 games a year. This way the Packers can go out and try to expand the brand by playing overseas every other year if they do that. Expand the brand means more dollars for the team which means Murphy and the BOD is happy.

Yep. No way the 17th game justifies the media increase. But they knew the deal was going to increase + a extra home game every other year....but decease the cap. Ok got it

This is about money not the brand let’s not be naive. They will do what’s best for the bank account

They’re leaving the city behind, not allowing them to benefit from the expansion
