Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

Sterling Sharpe interview. Pretty much saying he never cared about getting into the HOF and football was nothing more then a job to him and only thing he cares about now is golf.

maybe that's why it took so long for him to get in.

Possible if he never pump guys in media to speak up for him getting into the hall the guys who vote could have only cared about the guys who were working to get into the hall.

I don't think Alexander has wanted to play in GB the last couple years. Though with the PCL it seemed he tried to play thru that and was not effective in doing so. Most likely the team cuts him but would be happy with the Packers could get a late round pick swap for him. But I doubt any team wants to take his contract on so they wait for him to get cut and he signs with some team to a 1 year deal that has a lot of incentives built into it. If he stays healthy and has a big year in 2025 that would allow him to cash in after next season.

I do not like reporters embellishing these things.

It's not frustration with Alexander personally like the reporters make it out. It's simply frustration with the facts: 1) good to great but has been injured and can't play and 2) there's no indication his injury troubles have cleared.

Reading between the lines all season, I think there was definitely frustration from both sides on how the injury was handled. I.E. our starting QB is gutting out the whole season on an injured MCL, we need our starting corner to do the same.
