Crazy so many people saying how Sterling Sharpe only played 7 years and how Reggie Wayne and Tory Holt's stats are better and they should have gotten voted in over him. I swear these people just look at stats and probably never saw him play. Sharpe as the 2nd most dominate WR in the late 80s and early 90s only behind Jerry Rice. Sharpe did not have Joe Montana throwing to him or those stacked 49ers teams to play on in GB either. Sharpe was the first WR in NFL history to have back to back 100 catch seasons. Had Sharpe not gotten the career ending injury he would have won a Super Bowl in the 1996 season and who knows does he make a difference in Super Bowl 32 or help GB win another Super Bowl in a different year? Sharpe playing in Favre's prime MVP seasons he likely has stats that most would consider him a top 5 WR all time. Saying Wayne or Holt should be in before him is foolish. Those two played in a pass happy era when Sharpe had a run first era of offense and both those two had HOF QB's throwing to them When Sharpe had one year of Majik playing crazy and Favre's first couple seasons when he was learning that INT's did not count as TD's. Only thing more loony I saw was one comment from a Steelers fan saying Hines Ward was better then Sharpe. But glad Sharpe got in as we have seen you can play under 10 years in the league but get in if you in that time were a top 3 player at their spot.
