Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

I think and I am going to repeat it... too much on coaching not enough on plywood. You want prime rib... but you give me 80/20 ground beef.... can I make you prime rib? A great burger or meatloaf yes, but not what we need.

Less bitching about the coaching and more bitching about the GM and front office is needed.
How much say though has Rich had about the players they having been adding to help ST? If Rich has had a say in draft picks and FA's to help the ST then it's on the coaching.

GB special teams haven’t been prime rib, meatloaf or a good burger, they’ve been hotdog meat before the salt gets added.
That's not the point...the talent level on the backend isn't there. PS maybes are killing us, we suck donkey balls at finding talent past 30 on our roster... it was an issue in Favres later years, and plagued Rodgers most of his, thats 2 HOF first ballot QB with not much to show for and it's 97% on lack of talent or improper talent on the roster.

Before you @ me, KC is going for 3 and has gobs of injuries...but they acquire talent to make up for that.

I’d argue that GB is questionable finding talent past the first 15. There are starters on this team that shouldn’t be starters.

from a pff.com article about the probability of this year's playoff team returning to the playoffs next year:

Green Bay Packers: Moderate

Many expected the Packers to take a step forward in 2024, fueled by their young wide receivers building on their promising 2023 campaigns. However, that progress never fully materialized, raising questions about whether this group has already hit its ceiling—a potential issue for Green Bay moving forward.

Defensively, the team also appeared to regress, particularly in its pass rush. On plays without a blitz, the Packers generated pressure on just 31.5% of pass plays, ranking 19th in the NFL.

With both the Lions and Vikings potentially taking a step back, the Packers could benefit within the division. However, they will need to make key improvements on both sides of the ball to reclaim the potential they showed two years ago.
