Inside the Badger football family

Nobody mentioned a down year. I'm talking about a program that never reaches for the stars. Just take the home grown kids who they think will win more than they lose.
Again what is going change it? We don’t just take home gown kids especially skill positions. Unless you the resources it’s not changing and I don’t care who the HC is. And that starts above the staff

I didn't assign blame. Didn't even suggest it. But I do take what Saeed Khalif said about our recruiting quite seriously.

A multi-million dollar venture playing tight wad on the one thing that can make the team better. That's stupid from the top down, and that's well before it gets to the people working on the sideline.

UW football revenue is $89.9 million which by Conference standards is #5. Nice but well below OSU, Michigan and PSU. About even with Iowa. It’s just overall limitations

Yet, here we are at #13 for total revenue coming in.

That’s total revenue so BTN inflates that. It funds multiple programs. Some of those numbers look odd to be honest. FSU & Clemson come to mind. And it probably does not include foundation and booster money. I know Seminole Boosters is like a second Athletic department.

That does not change the point I'm making, does it?

If it relates to recruiting revenue yes but you also have to take into consideration how other football programs fund staffing, recruiting and other administrative positions. That comes from sources outside what USA Today lists. Look at expenses. UW is top 5 in the conference and on par with FSU and I can tell you for a fact the facilities in Tallahassee are much better than Madison. And a bigger commitment in recruiting. Hello Seminole Boosters. And no I don’t think an increase in recruiting budget closes the gap that much
