Post Game: Jets Defeat Green Bay 27-10

Maybe, but I think they made Aaron a deal. The mainstream theory is they just turned around and bent over for him, but I think there were demands met on each side.

If he inherits the team next year, he's gonna have a young defense, depth on OL and some young WRs. The cap will be a mess, but we'll see what they got up their sleeves for that.

The o-line is a mess. There is no depth on the o-line.

Was ML speech how do we get our heads out of our butts?

Only positive I have, defense did play well in the 1st half.

5 biggest negatives:

- O Line was a disaster. They remind me of when Jordan Love faced the Chiefs on the road last year. The Chiefs were aggressive and the O-Line couldn’t get it together. The last 6 quarters have been like that Chiefs game.

-A J Dillon. Seems like a good guy, but has not been as good this year as his first 2 years. The shaky O Line doesn’t help, but Dillon is not catching the ball well and he’s running too high on many carries taking his power away. I thought that fumble was more on him than Rodgers but who knows.

-Aaron Rodgers looks physically and mentally beaten. I think he’s playing relatively hard, but he’s probably got the least amount of talent around him he’s ever had on offense and he is not able to elevate them like he has other units. I think his age and physical ailments are making him less inclined to doing much running or scrambling.

-The defense continues to be awful against the run. I think the only way to fix it is for the Packers’ offense to get big leads and force teams to be more one dimensional. The bad news, the Packers’ offense is so shaky, they aren’t going to have many games where they force teams out of their running game.

-Mo Drayton and Sean Menenega both probably had big grins on their faces as they watched our special teams collapse and they know they can’t be blamed for it.

Rodgers has been a huge part of the problem but it's awfully hard to get anything going on offense when the opposing pass rush is living in the backfield like they were yesterday. This seems like a watershed moment type loss. Defense has underperformed, special teams once again a problem, O-line in shambles, and now it looks like we're finally at the "cliff" with Rodgers where he's just done as anything more than an above-average starting QB. I'm not sure where the fixes are until the offseason. Like, this is it. This might just be what this team is right now....

This game came down to the trenches and getting our butts whooped.

O-line
Bak- Is a shell of himself right now. I don't think he will ever be the same. (Time to move on)
Runyan- He has been pretty good until this game; however, he was destroyed most of the day.
Meyer- He is just an average center. We really miss Linsley.
Newman- Honestly, he could be cut. He is that bad.
Jenkins- He is not a tackle. He is also not all the way back yet. He needs to be moved to guard.

Personally, I think we need a better center, draft a good RG, move Jenkins back to LG, and at least for now put Yosh at RT. This line is what it is.

D-line
Smith- He is an ok pass rusher but he is not great against the run. Starting to slow down.
Clark- He has played well this season but can be inconsistent at times. Of course, when you are double teamed a lot, I guess that happens.
Reed- He can rush the passer but I do not see him as a run stopper at this point and he is older as well.
Slaton- He is a big body and had a good game against the Giants but again is inconsistent every game.
Lowrey- We could get rid of him and not miss him. He is just a guy.
Gary- Best defensive player on the team. He had a sack and multiple plays for a loss with the bad toe. If he goes down, we are in trouble.

The theme here on the d-line is most are just guys. They will make a play here and there but then get washed completely out of plays.

I do not see this changing the rest of the year. We have average to below average lines and we have below average WR's. The offense will continue to struggle and the d-line will continue to have issues topping the run. Sorry but I just do not have ggg( right now. This team is just not very good.

Y’all still trying to tell me the HC isn’t part of the problem in GB? Another head coach - our head coach’s supposed best friend - went in front of the media and slapped ML in the face. Told them ML’s team is soft and his lockerroom is weak. He’s not wrong! But saying it right out in the open like that?
