The team is void of talent and depth is obvious. Yet while other contenders have made moves, Packers are bargain shopping at the clearance isle.
Bears paid a high price for Mack but also got an elite player that improved their Defense.
Cowboys needed help and a weapon for their Offense and traded for Go To WR Cooper.
Rams a SB favorite went and got Flowers to bolster their D Line.
Lions got their new DL off the Giant's fire sale.
Now the Saints signed Bryant to a one year deal.
So losing Allison for the year after already losing Special K before season didn't warrant even checking out Bryant or having a lack of pass rush and losing Wilkerson for year didn't warrant the DL Lions got or checking out Flowers?
Not saying these are the only moves, but are examples.
The year Favre won the SB, Brooks went down and RW got Rison.
Even Rodgers SB year, we had a ton of injured players and found replacements.
So what is going on? Has Gutey figured this is a lost year and total rebuild? Or has the loss of Elliott and McKenzie, who previously help find NFL replacements, hurt the process?
a lot of questions with only guesses for answers
