Thompson: "We value draft and development, we value free agency"

When was the last time Minnesota or Detroit landed a big name, outside free agent?

How much of the FA problem is still guys just not wanting to come to Green Bay because it's Green Bay?
If you are asking how desirable Detroit or Minnesota is as a free agent landing spot that's an interesting debate.

Your second point is real and valid

I'm sorry but I still don't get why all the negativity regarding coming to Green Bay. If this was the 70's or 80's I totally get it.
But GB has a reputation of being a consistent winner, has great facilities and a good team. As far as the weather goes in the last few years Buffalo has had worst weather than we have had.

Hey, I'm totally accountable. If I'm ever wrong, I'll return every penny I was paid to be right. :)

That's fair and in the meanwhile I think its only fair GB give you back every penny you have ever spent in support of them since the last Super Bowl win

Has nothing to do with the weather, winning, or facilities. These guys are young millionaires and Green Bay has no where to go out. Many of them want the Big City night life.

It's about lifestyle. And yes some is still perception. Just look at the demographic of the area.

lol. i think i read somewhere that if green bay residents see anyone who is not caucasian in town they assume it is one of the packers.

TT has been nearly that active in FA every year. Not a single splash move on the list and that is what everyone is clamoring for. Most of those guys never played a snap for the team and are FAs again.

They already have. Nobody pays me for my opinion, or my support, and I pay nothing to have that opinion or show that support. Makes it pretty simple, right? :)

Last year the GBP were the only team in the NFL not to sign a single FA from another team. Will that happen again?
