Size of signing bonus and years/void years is what I want to see. Plus, is this brave new world, a young guy like a Jaire could get 2nd and maybe 3rd yr roster bonus guaranteed. (Maybe)
Exactly. Historically they guarantee 3 years at signing, some cases 2. He’s got some leverage to push that but will they

"Four days later – and with the unofficial start to free agency just two days away – Rodgers still has not signed a contract extension."

I don't give Jaire any void years coming into 2nd deal I want to keep him 4-5 more years

No way man. Aaron's coke based ego problems, are the problem.
i'm not sure what alternate reality you live in, but there has never been any speculation by anyone reputable that aaron rodgers is a coke user. you do realize that nfl players are routinely tested for drug use, don't you?

anyway, looking back on all this, it is easy to see that murphy's comment triggered rodgers. now, whether or not you want to contend that rodgers should have been able to brush that comment off just like he brushes off the comments of fans that don't like him (like you), the fact remains that a competent manager understands that it is not a good idea to piss off your best and most important team member. murphy has said some truly idiotic things over the past couple years, and that was clearly one of them. he lit the fuse.

Murphy needs to be taught the old adage,
“You PUBLICLY AFFIRM, and PRIVATELY CORRECT people”.
