Murphy needs to be taught the old adage,
“You PUBLICLY AFFIRM, and PRIVATELY CORRECT people”.
well, to be fair - murphy made the comment in a private phone call (correct me if i'm wrong). but you don't tell your best team member not to do something (i.e. correct him) when he hasn't yet done anything to be corrected. it ends up being more of a personal challenge that is far likelier to have a bad outcome than a good one.

And again context. Could have been as a joke, might not have been. And I don’t think it was one moment or one comment that pissed 12 off. I am not defending Murphy and not a fan of his but this has been a FO failure not just Murphy

Hmmmm.
I guess I thought he said that at the press conference when they were introducing ML as the new HC.
