Well, if they are going down that road, I hope Gute is working the phones very soon.
Draft isn’t that far off.
All depends on structure on 12’s deal. If it’s a 2 year and out yeah probably deal him. 1 year with outs all bets are off

And where and what do have for proof of that? All sources of public info I follow say otherwise. And just so no one gets confused, it's not.inside info but former players and NFL ppl publically speaking
Posted videos in the Love thread, complete with film analysis. Here's another video. One thing I mention is Royce Newman struggling to cope with inside stunts and zero blitzes. The person analyzing this film seems to agree with that.

Love and Newman both improved against blitzing defenses in the Lions game. Love needs to work on ball placement. This will come with improved footwork, which is what Matt said he was working on. Love makes the right reads, throws to the right guy. His main thing is he needs to get better timing on the back shoulder plays and put the ball out in front of guys so they can catch it in stride. However, he does understand the offense and he reacts correctly to defenses and what they give him.

Here is one of the videos I posted in the other thread. It's much shorter, but gives an overview of the Lions game.

This analyst outright says Love is getting close to being good enough to start in the NFL. I agree with that. Remember, that's not to say he's as good as Aaron Rodgers (yet.) He doesn't have to be. Just needs to be able to play, move the ball, lead the team.

Nobody worth his salt takes one game as a data point.

Again one game. No scout or analyst makes that determination after one game with any creditably
