interesting perspective. you have to wonder how much leverage he'll have when his narrow scope of duties is taken into consideration by potential suitors.
Great point. Excellent point. How do we judge ML if everyone else is doing the doing?

Thanks danno. You nailed it. I appreciate you understanding and we'll see what happens when the contract talks happen. I know I wouldn't be happy working under those circumstances. A lot of us questioned the new power structure when The Murph outlined it. I'm just willing to give all parties their due negativity from me. If they all agreed, then to me, when they fail or succeed, it's on all of them.
The majority rests with Murphy because it’s his structure.

Don’t agree with his meddling, but Gute (first time GM) and ML (first time HC) gave in so they could build their resume’.

Well, I sure hope the board is monitoring this and holding Murphy accountable.

That’s where ML “sells himself” by telling suitors to look at what he accomplished with 1 1/2 hands tied behind his back, and how much more he COULD accomplish if he’s given more skin in the game.

I've tried that with Mark, with no luck.....hopefully ML has better luck !! rofl(

I still do not know what we have in either LaFleur or Love. The Clements hire is a hire to do whatever it takes to keep Rodgers. (Credit to rpiotr for "Shame. Shame. Shame".) Packers mortgaging their future to keep Rodgers is a bad risk. Winning pre-January games has covered a lot of issues and it's now time to see what we really have in Love and LaFleur. That means Rodgers departing. Let's get what we can now, not bury ourselves in debt, and see if this team can compete post-Rodgers and post-December. Otherwise, the hole may be too deep for LaFleur and the Pack when Rodgers does depart.
