Makes you wonder if he asked for Kumerow back also.I just wish Rodgers picked someone better to demand in a trade. Has he seen the tackles behind Bakhtiari??
Rodgers is pouring gas all over the house and as he walks out the door will throw a match behind him and watch it burn.He had them by the nuts with the contract “restructure”. It’s was your just like that scene in Animal House with the frat pledges. “Thank you sir can I have another” with the Cobb thing

This might sound odd but two things are facts. #1 Rodgers / Dunn asked for contract concessions which were consistent with what has been reported, he wanted to control his future. I don’t fault him for asking, it’s business. The issue is #2 the organization caved and how and why they caved with sufficient runway with leverage is just malpractice. That’s my issue today.Rodgers is pouring gas all over the house and as he walks out the door will throw a match behind him and watch it burn.
Yep seems GB just wanted him back for this season instead of doing a deal that benefits both sides GB said let us fold faster then Superman on laundry day just to have him back and get the media off our backs. This might sound odd but two things are facts. #1 Rodgers / Dunn asked for contract concessions which were consistent with what has been reported, he wanted to control his future. I don’t think that’s the entire story. I’ve said it in previous posts, something changed the narrative the last 48 hours before agreement was reached. You don’t blink with time and leverage on your side unless something forced it. There was never going to be common ground. The media neither party really cares about, that’s window dressing. I truly believe that 2 things can cause that type of deal to be cut, deadline or events.Yep seems GB just wanted him back for this season instead of doing a deal that benefits both sides GB said let us fold faster then Superman on laundry day just to have him back and get the media off our backs.
Maybe Rodgers did say give me this or I announce I retire. This way while Packers get screwed they can at least get something for him in a trade later.I don’t think that’s the entire story. That’s what my guess was the retirement option was real and has been for sometime and announcing it around shareholders day was a nuclear option. One week ago, sports books pulled odds due to “information” that he might retire. Coincidence maybe but it was out there. Dunn pulled the same strategy with PalmerMaybe Rodgers did say give me this or I announce I retire. This way while Packers get screwed they can at least get something for him in a trade later.
