Rodgers Wants Out

I get what you guys are saying, and I understand. But I still go back to the fact that Rodgers is the only one associated with the team that knows exactly what he's seeing on the field, and on tape, later. We're just offering opinions, he's offering first hand insight into what's happening.
I truly hope that the HC who is an offensive mind, the position coach and the OC would also see what’s happening on the field and tape. Not trying to be snarky but Rodgers is not the only guy in the room or at practice or at games.

HOpefuly 30 days this is all in the past Rodgers is on new team and we can all move on

The narrative from the organization is somewhat vague because they feel it needs to be vague. What are they supposed to say? If they say he's our QB for 2021-22 and then we'll re-evaluate, that won't sit well with AR because it's the truth. If they say he's the QB for the next 3 years but they change their minds, that doesn't go down well either because that's a lie from someone's lips the moment you say it.

Face it, they want to control the timeline and part of me doesn't blame them. They want the flexibility to move on depending on what they see from Rodgers and Love. One is on the decline, the other hopefully on the rise. If the lines meet they want the flexibility to cut loose the guy on the decline and keep the organization as well positioned to win as possible. If they want the control, they have to accept the fall-out.

I don't think is is a committ to Rodgers thing this is Rodgers having his little diva feelings hurt because GB won't change how they have run the team forever. Packers won't give players a say in how things are done. Rodgers might find out the grass is not always greener on the other side.

That’s fair. But words matter. I know it’s Monday Morning QB stuff but just leave it that “we are committed to Aaron and working to resolve differences”. The “foreseeable future “ line left them with their pants down and locked in their position, they had to know the contract leaks and speculation and some of that probably came from them. I know it’s just a few words but when you are trying to control the message be consistent

Not to beat a dead horse but they were the ones who used the “foreseeable future” tag line. This is a clear mixed message and if I was Rodgers I would have Mr Dunn call Mr Murphy and clarify what the “foreseeable future” is since you won’t extend me

I am not following you at all TW....

2 things. #1 it brings the “trust “ factor into the conversation. Clearly he has his guys he trusts and are give him that comfort level. #2 I don’t think he thinks he went out on a limb. It’s his evaluation of the guy and he not a guy who will change course.
and #3 it points out once again the lack of communication from the front office.
