What I was referring to that most organizations will give so much. However both party usually keep things tight before formal business is concluded. I've lived that game personally. However I did like your point of view Pack
 
Aaron Rodgers simply thinks he has Tom Brady clout. Brady has 7 rings Rodgers has one. Had Rodgers won 3-4 SB's then guess what he has more clout to talk and likely GB is going to listen more.

The difference here I believe is that this issue has been the gorilla in the room for 12 months or more. The initial leaks turned out to be accurate for the most part.

What is interesting is that the Rodgers camp has been pretty consistent with its narrative, the GB organization not so much

He a narcissist. That has zero to do with rings or SB’s. He just thinks he’s smarter than the other guy. Work with one for awhile and it’s pretty clear

Of Course GB is going to try to spin it like ok yeah it's nothing he's our QB we love him. While in reality it's defcon level 2 just before everyone gets nuked.
 
Case in point, we had a GM up here in Boston..Theo Epstein. Who let leak to the press he wanted to trade Manny Ramirez to the Rangers for ARod not Aaron Rodgers lol. This got out by sports reporters' who had a field day with this. Now Manny R isn't your #1 understanding person. He made a joke of wanting to be traded to GB for Brett Faves straight up. He never played well for Boston after that. And Theo was easily chastised by John Henry. He went to the Cubs after that.

It’s not spin it’s an inconsistent message. One one hand we won’t extend you. Next message is we want you for the foreseeable future. That’s not the way to control the narrative. What’s the “foreseeable future”. 2021? 2022? 2023?

Edit: they never painted a rosy picture. They acknowledged the rift

That’s been the message. Rinse and repeat, but it keeps getting muddier somehow.

You have to acknowledge that Brady had a much better head coach than GB had. Not to mention a much better team with far better weapons and a team scheme that work well for Brady.
Just a guess here, but my thinking that ARod is thinking how he cares with NFL MVP awards to Brady.
