Rodgers Wants Out

so if the packers had negotiated maybe one less player or one less draft pick, the rams might have lowered it even more?
Who knows. You can play the what if game all day but it does not change the fact that you essentially add $12m to this years cap, $10m for Goff and I think the cap escalation on Rodgers is $2m more than his cap hit. And that’s not even looking at the what the cap would look like in 2022. You already lost your all pro center, reworked other deals.

this is why i said in shout that it is better if he says nothing at all. because if he says anything, the fans who have made up their minds against him will say he's lying anyway. if he says he loves green bay, it's b.s.

for the record, i am always a packers fan first. i have always been a packers fan since i was old enough to watch the sport - nearly 60 years. i didn't turn away from the team during the three decades of losing. i didn't change allegiances whenever i moved. but as a fan, i have my favorite players. and when one of them leaves the team by choice or by management decision, i do not turn my back on him and talk crap about him. i respect the effort he made for my team and cheer him on in his new gig (unless it is against my team). i'm not trying to spark up a storm here. i'm just a fan.

Don't start with the haters crap please, we are NOT in any way, shape or form going through the Favre thing again here. It's the "Green Bay' Packers not The "Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre" Packers.
