Rodgers Wants Out

I'll be 100% honest, I don't think pro player personal has been up to par since several key people left. If those people aren't doing their job the rest will crumble. You then have Murphy sticking his nose in things and it compounds the issues.
Agree after XLV Ted never replaced talent for talent in the FO

It's part of it I think many little things added up to make all of this. It was just not he wanted to control the timeline IMO.
Money never was part of the narrative and the restructure now is not money related. Don’t know why that’s so difficult. He wanted control of his timeline and had a issue with culture

Rodgers said he was upset that the #Packers didn't retain high-character players that were "great locker room guys" and "weren't given the respect their high stature deserved."

So you just want to keep your buddies on the roster to please you is what you mean. Cobb is not worthy of a roster spot when we let him go and still is not.

Rodgers still proving he's an ass and it's all Rodgers world we live in.

Rodgers listed veterans like Peppers, Woodson, Nelson, Jones, Lang and other.

Rodgers said he has tried to pass along information to the personnel office about players he knows through his representatives and felt that he should be part of the conversation.

He said in March everything changed and there were not guarantees he wasn't going to be apart of the team ahead of '21 and they weren't going to listen to him then why not make a change.

Aaron Rodgers: "This wasn't a Draft day thing. It started with a conversation in February. I just expressed my desire to be involved in conversations directly affecting my job."

Rodgers says another frustration was he wasn't used in free-agent recruiting. Feels it's needed in Green Bay, which isn't a "vacation destination." #Packers "tried to throw some money at me." Says it was about more than that, though he didn't want to be a "lame duck" QB.

Rodgers says he did consider retirement, but that his fire to play still burns.

GB front office just neutered themselves. You can bet every agent with a player in GB took notice. And the players in the locker room took notice too. Arod is king and the ultimate power.

I just lost a ton of respect for GB front office.

"There was part of me that thought there would be talk of an extension," Rodgers said of the early off-season. Not until into May did that change. He said it was like someone having a great year at their job and going to the boss and being told no thanks.

As for next year, Rodgers said, "I don't know. Things in that direction have not changed. There's a lot of moving pieces and there will be some converations after the season."
