honestly, i think there's a good chance that love never starts a game for green bay (except preseason, of course).

Yep I think if Rodgers plays well in 2021 also Packers might say keep him for another 2 years and move on from Love.

maybe the better discussion is how long does 12 want to play. I sense he enjoys the game now but who knows his mindset even if there is a minor injury

If Rodgers has a good year in 2021 and he at least commits to 2022 I see no point in keep Love. I move on draft a new QB who you can develop and have under contract longer.

and what leverage does Love have and for that matter what value does Love have? Sends a loud signal to 31 other teams that this dude is not that good and we are hitching our wagon to a 40 year old QB with no one waiting to take his place
