Post Game : GB Defeats Arizona 27-23

NFL needs to do something about these flag happy crews. Today crew #1 coming into the game for flags throw had 16 accepted penalties. GB had 10 of them for 94 yards. Some of them were ticky tack calls that some crews just let play on.
Hey. At least Parsons got a holding call for a change.

Watching the All-22 right now, just laughing out loud seeing Elgton Jenkins and Zach Tom on the right side blocking for FGs when it was Brant Banks and Luke Musgrave 2 weeks ago. I mean, yup that solves the problem alright.
It's sad that our ST are that bad that we need to risk our starters playing on them. That falls on Rich that he can't get the backups on this team coached up enough that they can't be useful to play ST. They really need to move on from him as ST coach.

A lot of teams play their starters on ST, that's an organizational issue, not a RB issue. Brant Banks is what, their No. 10-11 OL? Im not going to shit on the ST coach for not making that guy a viable NFL player, that's your roster management.

I think once Belton comes back you will see Jenkins or Tom drop off ST and Belton will take their place, which is fine because he can do that.

Anyway interesting stuff watching this one on replay.

Not to harp on this and not picking on you GBP but people need to go read up on NFL in season practice rules. It's almost impossible to coach up young players on this after the first two weeks of camp. They only get I think one padded practice per week for the first half of the season and then I think they get one every other week. There is no time to get someone like Brant Banks live reps on the FG unit, there isn't enough time and resources available to teams. The only live reps these guys get is during games, when it matters. You can't just say "coach them up" - they almost aren't allowed to coach them up.

And you can go ahead and apply this to every other area where you want to see a team improve - there just isn't time allowed for them to do this in an effective way once the season starts.
