Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

Sounds like Jimmy G either is going back to LA or retire. Russell Wilson sounds like he is trying to get a TV job. besides Taylor only other real choices were Teddy Bridgewater and Cooper Rush who had exp starting. I know Mark mentioned Easton Stick but only had one year where he saw any snaps and that was in 2023 when he played in 4 games. Based on what was out there Taylor was probably the best option they could have got at this point. But I can't see Taylor contract being very big. Maybe if he struggles in camp GB could cut him at the end and make a trade still.

isn't ar still available technically? hgh)

The Taylor signing is kind of a "meh" move. Doesn't move the needle for me either way. His 2025 stats mirrored the team stats for the Jets. He got as many wins as the "team" deserved. On a team like the Packers he likely wins at around a .500 clip and he can maybe win you a game or two if JLove is out for a month. Needless to say, he can't win you playoff games. He's not as good as Willis, but I think he's a improvement over Ridder.
