dane brugler of the athletic ranked the packers draft #26, the lions #14, the bears #19, and the vikings #29.
i realize this is not the same as "power rankings" that consider the whole team, not just the draftees, but i thought it was interesting anyway. to be fair, brugler did post a disclaimer that teams with multiple day one picks had a distinct advantage in his process for evaluating the draft.

Brugler's write up for GB was bizarre. In his mock he had GB taking Deni Dennis-Sutton at pick 52 in the 2nd round. GB got the same player in the 4th round and he still gave GB a bad grade for doing exactly what he thought they should do.

well, not exactly. they didn't waste their 2nd round pick on a guy they could get in the 4th.

it sure would be nice if lvn would suddenly have a breakout season. i suppose that's asking too much.
