As we all know, hitting the PT hard is important. I realize my PT wasn't anything nearly as concentrated as a professional athlete, but I realized that I could actually see and feel improvement EVERY DAY. My ortho surgeon said he did the same surgery on a professional football player and it was a full year of rehab before he even attempted to play again, so I guess I shouldn't feel bad that at 10 months I'm at about 90% (given I'm 64 and not 25 I shouldn't complain). Still stiff every day, and probably the 1 thing I can't do yet is run without feeling like it's going to give out - and that's always the hardest thing for those athletes is to get to a point where they can run again without worrying about it - I get it now.
